Ether ETF Approval Expected This Week
Tether Freezes Cambodian Fraud Group's $28M In USDT, NFT Sales Hit $109M Despite Fewer Buyers & Sellers
ETF Store president Nate Geraci predicts that the approval of Ethereum ETFs will come this week. Similar thoughts were shared by Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan, who noted the minimal amendments in the recent ETF filings as a positive.
Geraci and others' comments share the notion that there are hardly any more reasons for more delays. The initial discussions among these people took place on CNBC's ETF Edge on July 8th.
It was highlighted that spot Bitcoin ETF launch was the most successful one in industry history with 10-11 ETFs, and that Ether ETFs could be the second biggest launch.
These predictions, alongside the minimal S-1 registration updates, are likely some of the key contributors to the recent Ethereum and its ecosystem's price surge.
MN Trading founder Michaël van de Poppe highlighted Ethereum outpacing Bitcoin in price action, and said that the Ethereum ETF launch could push it even further.
Other crypto ETFs are very likely to emerge if Ethereum ETFs are indeed getting greenlighted. Starting potentially with Solana or Ripple.
