Morgan Stanley Advisors Can Pitch Bitcoin ETFs
Polygon To Transform MATIC Into POL, BlackRock Surpasses Grayscale In Digital Asset Management
Morgan Stanley has allowed its ~15,000 wealth advisors to recommend Bitcoin ETFs to select clients.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund can now be pitched to clients with at least $1.5 million net worth and appropriate risk tolerance.
According to CNBC, Morgan Stanley is the first major Wall Street firm to allow this.
Morgan's clients will be able to invest in these funds from their taxable brokerage accounts but not their retirement funds.
Crypto twitter celebrated the announcement, noting that Morgan Stanley advisors manage around $5.7 trillion in client assets.
