WisdomTree Launches Tokenized Asset Platform
Decentraland's X Account Hacked, Google Cloud Launches Ethereum-Compatible RPC
WisdomTree has yesterday launched WisdomTree Connect - a dedicated platform for tokenized real-world assets.
The platform will have WisdomTree-issued tokens that can be interacted with via any wallet and different chains.
This is the first time the company's digital funds will be open to clients, including businesses/institutions, with their own wallets.
Over time, the digital funds will become available to other platforms and apps, and to self-hosted retail investors.
The sales pitch of WisdomTree Connect is that it’ll bring blockchain recordkeeping to yield-generating assets like WTGXX for firms.
Initially, the institutional platform will be available on a web portal and an API.
WisdomTree Connect will be primarily powered by USDC and have fiat on/off ramps. WisdomTree-issued tokens will be minted on Ethereum first, with other chains to be added over time.
